Occasional reminder that there should be an age limit on congress that is tied to the life expectancy of their constituents. I'm talking (Expectancy, minus 20 years) so if someone in congress wants to work longer, they need to pass legislation that actually helps the people they claim to serve.

Echoing this. I've been very close friends with Terran for 10 years. I'm talking hanging out in person multiple times a week, countless nights realizing it's suddenly 2am, and coming to terms with getting too old for that, lol. I ugly cried when I moved away because I knew how much I'd miss him.

100%. For those unfamiliar, Van Halen had a line in their rider that essentially said “no brown M&Ms.” It was a way to see if the promoter had actually read the contract. They had a shitload of gear to tour with, so if they’re skipping one thing, it’s guaranteed they’re skipping something essential.
