If you hadn't heard, I started my PhD @uwmadison.bsky.social with the #Neuroscience Training Program (one of the oldest neuroscience PhD programs in the US #WisconsinExcellence) Just finished my first rotation doing patch-clamp in RGCs. Excited for the next, lots of retinal morphology!

Taken together, our results strongly suggest that dopamine plays a role in feedforward excitatory pathways, while acetylcholine functions in feedback inhibitory circuits in the octopus visual system.
