Cheese for sure, but fish and bread are close second.

Not sure I can name a vibe, but I think your art has a solid foundation and clean execution. So, I guess "thoroughness"?

After >100 hours and a ton of teething issues, I finally finished this #embroidery piece based off the Fantastic work @monarobot.bsky.social did for me last year! Took a few liberties here and there but all in all I think it came out pretty good!

That's so cool. Has a "our budget only allowed for cardboard sets" kind of vibe.

I like when artists squeeze a lot out of a little, so the limited palette of @dmitrydeceiver.bsky.social is always nice (it's in Neverway? Which has good animations), or the miniature pixelart by @franekk.bsky.social in Arco/Dice have no Eyes. Also @tofupixel.bsky.social + @noionart.bsky.social.

Warframe has several "ship of Theseus" characters that lose/lost body parts which most of the time get replaced by mechanical or organic bits. Quincy especially seems to have just a regular replacement arm (and Legs goes without any, if I remember correctly). Fortuna in general is full of cyborgs.

I think I remember something similar about Superman's son(?) having a tattoo and that he needed to be depowered with kryptonite to get it done.

I mostly remember the regret of the people who did the headpiece recreation, cause it is just their idea of how it could've looked, but many others used that as inspiration for the ultimate "shaman" look and copied it/had it inform their own ideas. Now it's a blueprint everything gets compared to.

Ah, just having more trouble then usual with bluesky. I've almost gotten used to clicking a link two or three times before something happens, but this post needed a dozen clicks, so I tried to make a joke about it. My apologies if it got lost in translation.

The ungodly amount of times I had to click this unresponsive link means I have to like this out of sink cost fallacy reasons alone... Good thing it's looking pretty cool as well.

The cat tries to use telepathy to cheat on the test, but the duck didnt study either.

A painting of a cat in a classroom attempting to use telepathy, in the form of a laser beam, emanating from its forehead and reaching the nape of a duck's neck, which appears to be very frightened in the classroom.

My friends (who read the Silmarillion) didn't like it, but I have no snail in this race and enjoyed some parts; especially the story around the queen and a few of the costumes looked cool. The monster designs were also pretty neat and that kept me interested over 3 days it ran back to back on TV.

I'm Yam, and I love drawing comics, excessive detailing in clothing, and anything in black/white/gold! 🟎 paristandard.tumblr.com 🟎 www.instagram.com/paristandard/ 🟎 ko-fi.com/paristandard

An illustation of Fëanor and his seven sons from the Silmarillion by Tolkien. All of them are on horseback, and have all just taken the oath.

Double-page spread of two comic pages. A work-in-progress showing the main character finding a cocoon which contains an extradimensional moth. Text on page reads: "This is the story of who I was, and how I ceased to be", "But mostly this is a story about cocoons."

An illustration of a repeating pattern of moths in black, white and gold.

An illustrated bookplate of a sphinx-like creature drawn in a medieval style. Text reads: Ex Libris Paristandard.

You could participate anonymously like that one post about Bruce Wayne being a Batman conspiracy guy that only shares his wild, inaccurate theories with the "fandom", so nobody takes them seriously when they get too close to the truth. Just a daisy chain of red herrings.

Really like the branches and how the ones further away are paler. Also the rough texture makes them look hazy, like it's a very hot day and the air is shimmering.

I thought I had turned everything off from the start but kept running into "cartoon nudity" warnings, it was ridiculous. I was sure enabling adult content would encompass that, but there was a whole separate filter option to disable, because drawings of boobs need extra caution, I guess...

With all those known chromosome combinations in humans I was wondering: are there any "common" ones in other animals? I dunno, like the butterfly one that shows female patterns on one body half and male on the other or something similar.

I launched an indie webcomic hosting platform several months ago that offered a free and a $4/mo paid plan. This was purely to cover the cost of the infrastructure. But in seeing it grow, I'm no longer worried about the cost. So yeah Webcomic Studio is now free. webcomic.studio

The romance of necromancy 🫀🧠

Waist up illustration of an older purple drow woman with long straight grey hair and fully orange eyes. She faces sideways to left, holding a skull level with her face, looking at it wistfully. She stands in front of an illuminated archway that works as the illustration's frame; its details are dark pink and old gold. The background is a gradient pink-purple sunset sky, the sun being fully black. In the arch, on the left is an anatomical heart, on the right, an anatomical brain. Under them reads "vita in morte / mors in vita".
Under the picture in gothic font reads "life in death / death in life".
