Yay glad it was a good one! Hope that set the tone for the rest of the year 🙌🏼

Happy (belated?) birthday! 🎉

Lmfaooo this is actually hilarious. Gotta show lots of enthusiasm in the first two weeks 😂

I’ll say regarding mouse/keyboard use, it’s not too bad. Takes getting used to at higher speeds. For focused work, I’d keep it at 2 but for lighter tasks, I can go up to 3. So it really depends. Regardless it’s not too bad! Let me know if you end up getting - would like to know how it goes 😊

It’s built really well, feels sturdy and doesn’t make a lot of noise! I had more time & flexibility to be active when I was unemployed but being locked into work was making me lazy 😭 truly think this is the perfect way to get movement in without losing any extra time from your schedule

I had a standing desk for years and never used it until I got the walking pad lol. Just standing felt boring/pointless but the walking pad is amazing. Time flies with it 🤩 def try it!

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 30/03/2025

I 100% recommend. It’s such a good way to stay active throughout the day and you don’t even notice how much you’re walking if you’re busy working. Also, it kept me more awake the days I used it!

I narrowed my choices down to a foldable walking pad or one that was a foot shorter & inclined. Both were still smaller than a regular treadmill so I can tuck it away. I went with the shorter, inclined one cause I’m short so I don’t need the full length & it’s inclined so a little more intensive!

The standing desk and walking pad combo is elite 👌🏼

I usually arrange based on vibes but it’s annoying to do. Which two do you use? 👀

110

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 23/03/2025

Yeah, I don’t find that funny at all. Insulting if anything

030

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 22/03/2025

Accurate 😭😂

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 22/03/2025

Thank you!! 🥹

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 21/03/2025

holy shit this is me too 😭

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 17/03/2025

I haven’t tried Appium either but luckily, I don’t have to dive into that at the start. But playwright is amazing! I’ve used it for scraping before and loved it. You should def give it a go. And thank you for the advice! 🙂

I need another weekend to recover from this weekend 🫠

And this is why I stick to booleans for conditional rendering 😭

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 15/03/2025

Nothing? 0 is falsy

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 15/03/2025

she’s so hot I should update just to buy her 😂

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 15/03/2025

nested css, container queries, scroll snapping, :has(), color-mix() haven’t tried the last two myself yet so mostly interested in those if I had to pick

020

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 15/03/2025

ok so i accepted the job offer yesterday and the macbook that they’re providing came within 24 hours... that’s faster service than amazon

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 15/03/2025

Thank you! 🙂 Can’t get over it, I feel incredibly lucky.

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 15/03/2025

Thank you so much! And yes — I’m going to be mainly using Playwright (there was actually a live technical interview using it within their in-house system) and Appium for mobile. 🙂

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

Someone really desperate is gonna take that unfortunately and there’s a lot of em out there

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

You need to display it as a gallery somewhere

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

srsly just erase my memory

000

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

Are we gonna get another chance??? 😭 I NEED

020

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

Oh my… I’m loving this UI lol

011

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

Thank you!! I can’t wait to get started 🤩

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

Ok that’s def not necessary given that it’s only 50 options lol

100

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

Me & my husband were expecting that last bit, too! I’m thinking the girl on the video call might have been on the list as well… ah I’m not prepared for the next episode 😭

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 14/03/2025

watched #ThePitt tonight and did not expect that birthing scene. def in awe that women do this everyday and survive but like, still irrationally terrified 🫣

020

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 12/03/2025

Congrats!!! That’s super exciting! I’ve been seeing your posts about how tough the search has been — glad it ended with a happy outcome 🥳

020

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 12/03/2025

Unrelated but your bible website is stunning! The styling gives off a soothing/calming feeling - perfect for the material you’re sharing. That being said, there’s opportunities out there, you just need to get noticed. Networking might help!

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 11/03/2025

Love that it’s super subtle but still enough contrasts! My current theme is starting to cause strain on my eyes so I’ll def try this. Thank you 🙂

drank coffee way too fast. having jitters 😵‍💫

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 10/03/2025

I’ve done this before actually. It’s helpful to see it implement at least the barebones of my idea but ultimately, it started hallucinating so I deleted the whole project folder and did it on my own. It helped me organize my thoughts and visualize how to structure things - not bad in that way. 😅

020

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 10/03/2025

We 100% need spaces… that’s the one thing I miss

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 10/03/2025

Ok I need this theme! What are you using? 👀

100

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 10/03/2025

Ugh this just reminded me of the many times I ran into this issue 😭 People would actually use these packages more if there was better documentation! They don’t even need to make it fancy, just use a bunch of bullet points.

010

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 10/03/2025

You did this with pure CSS (no JS)? Looks cool!

110

aniqa @aniqa.dev · 10/03/2025

Totally get that - I’ve been training my brain not to use it — it’s def hard not to reach for it cause it seems so fast! But I try to use it as a last result and I’ll spend time trying to understand its outputs, which includes looking at other sources, otherwise I’d feel guilty about it 😭

This is incredible. I love CSS art 😍 Your articles are amazing - I’ve seen them on Reddit before! Looking forward to seeing more of your work 🙂
