Worked on recreated some maps for my session tonight. The Ambush sites Multi-Pack from @paizo.com was fun to make! The larger buildings have removable roofs that allows for players to enter and explore. Plus the tiles can rotate to make any city layout. #pathfinder2e #PathfinderSociety

If you gamerz aren't already following this account, you really should. Love a deal on paraphernalia that isn't explicitly labeled for games, but holy crap is something like this useful. Great share, TGD.

Bruh. Some I'm working on material for the TTRPG class I'm going to teach in October. I had no idea there was a Dragon Ball Z TTRPG: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_... There was also a Street Fighter TTRPG!

Had a conversation with a friend about the Assassin's Creed series. We lamented about how the first 3ish games being different from what came in Odyssey and those after. The prior AC games tried to emulate the feel of stealthy cloak & dagger gameplay. Observe your environment, see what you can use,

Just finished a personality survey for a job I'm applying for. Here are some of the questions that really made me think... (No option for saying 'no' on the last one, lul.)

Multiple choice question with too many options for answering.

Multiple choice question with a wild prompt.

No option for saying no for this multiple choice question.

Hey #datascience, I'm looking for a job. If y'all have any connections, help a brother out. I'm a recent master's grad for data science and was formerly a math and computer science teacher at the highschool level. Also, I came across this as the UI for a job. Please don't use yellow on white.

Questions for a job application. They read:
Are you legally authorized to work in the United States? [Yes][No], the [Yes] has been selected and highlighted with an awful contrasting yellow.

Will you now or in the future require visa sponsorship to work in the United States? [Yes][No], the No is highlighted, again with the awful contrasting yellow.

Was looking just a little bit in case I should win the lottery at EV cars. I used to have lofty ideas of having sleek exteriors and great range. Unfortunately, nowadays I only have one major requirement going forward. I would consider getting the first two, loose maybe on 3rd, not on the fourth.

@humblebundle.com This UI seems ingenuous. On another note, I've seen many sites also implement a slider that give an option to input the numbers directly. Why hasn't HumbleBundle done this as well? Or at least have presets like you did on previous iterations.

Screenshot of adjusting the donation price between 3 entities:
1. Paizo
2. Craft Emergency Relief Fund
3. Humble
Notably, the sliders are unequal, even though the valuations for two of the entities are the same.

2 days ago I got to present to the San Francisco public library's librarians. I spoke about the process for playing TTRPGs, learning new ones and bringing them to library tables for many to enjoy. Also pointed out some of the ways TTRPGs help build many soft skills to enrich ourselves.

Presentation table full of TTRPG material (most from Free RPG day) as well as the giant GM screen from earlier.

This game is super solid in my opinion. A very chill time. If you have dorky players like I do, you'll end up roleplaying your character as they transform throughout the acts. There is a bit of competition, but to me they mostly just amount to "Haha, made you look" levels of sting.

A group chat I was in was talking about Star Wars EoE. One of them, a writer for Starfinder, pointed out that it's weird that there's a Star Wars game that doesn't care about ship combat. It got us talking about TTRPGs in general and if any of them felt like they covered vehicular combat well.

*sigh* Sucks applying for government jobs right now. I'm trying to apply to jobs in general, but having these questions be thrown at me makes me stop the application halfway through 🙃

Screenshot from a job application:
How has your commitment to the Constitution and the founding principles of the United States inspired you to pursue this role within the Federal government? Provide a concrete example from professional, academic, or personal experience.

How would you help advance the President's Executive Orders and policy priorities in this role? Identify one or two relevant Executive Orders or policy initiatives that are significant to you, and explain how you would help implement them if hired.

Local theater is running a musical called 'Jagged Little Pill' that's a jukebox musical based off Alanis Morisette songs. It was a very good production and the musical itself touches on a lot of heavy hitting topics, like sexual assault, drug abuse, racism, and queer-phobia. Watch it if you can!

Had brunch at. Filipino restaurant today. It was delicious. Not very authentic, and that led to a conversation where my mom was talking about the idea that sometimes the older generations don't appreciate the more modern food because of the palette adjustments. #food #foodforthought #filipino

Cocktail styled similar to an old fashion. Has an ice cube and a leaf.

Menu description of the previous cocktail, the "Para Po!" Named after people asking the Filipino jeepney drivers to stop for them.

Bottom right: Ube hotcakes
Top right: Fusion sizzling sisig
Top center: Garlic fried rice
Left: fried plantains
