The typical online race experience: Everyone bats you aside, bump into or fall into everything, acceleration tanks from losing rings, 12th place forever. What fun golly gee willikers.

This made me dig put the Mega Drive carts and sure enough...the background is redrawn! Original cart on the left, toy recreation on the right. Funny that!

This render that's going about though? The sonic toy example in the bottom right corner is major sus also this render shows gunstar heroes and Ristar toys??

Animated AF! @animatedaf.co.uk · 25/09/2026

I'm convinced this is a AI "enhanced" render that doesn't resemble the actual boxes in stores, look at the wonky Sonic figure render compared to the boxes which also say there's only six to collect (photo from @segabits.bsky.social )

Just seen this photo from @segabits.bsky.social of the Triple Trouble Game Gear blind box toy and uuuh is it just me or is the artwork different from both the American and PAL original box arts?? Did they redraw it again? I don't wanna say those two letters 😨

Removed a few things from the Sonic cabinet and unboxed some figures that were sitting in the loft, feels less cluttered now and there's some room for any new bits I might grab to go in there.

My current one is a Crucial CT250MX200SSD4. Looks like this, Hoping it'd be easy to find something with bigger capacity (even 500GB would do).

www.animatedaf.co.uk/post/8242402... posted on my website GIFS of a commissioned PNGTuber I made way back in 2022. It never got actively used in the end but I wanted to post it for prosperity, especially the pose below which I still rather like!
