Every time I lurk on r/rpgs I see questions about mystery TTRPGs, and almost every time the body of the post says something roughly akin to "Brindlewood Bay is not what I'm looking for." Without fail, there's still somehow like at least five people pushing Brindlewood Bay.

The disability metaphor with the monsters in Eureka (just one lens they can be viewed through) isnt “they can’t do things”(clearly the monsters can do things), it’s “they need something valuable that most people will be angry with them if they take and think they should choose to die instead.”

Hearing people use "liminal" as an emotional adjective makes me irrationally mad. Liminal spaces aren't distinct because they make you "feel liminal" - liminality is a *quality* that *evokes* emotion like loneliness, fear,nostalgia, melancholy etc

Jumping on this to say 1. ttrpgs are not actually "for everyone" despite what wizards of the coast wants us to think. Nothing wrong with lacking interest. 2. If you want to anyway, play Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy because it's good, the devs are cool people I know and I do writing for it.
