Het is de Week van het Verboden Boek, dus ik lees (voor het eerst) ‘Persepolis’ van de eerder dit jaar en veel te vroeg overleden Marjane Satrapi. Al jaren een verboden werk in Iran en inmiddels steeds vaker op scholen in de VS. Gaat lezen deze en kijk zeker ook de prachtige verfilming. #BookSky

Alas, I were not able to catch Dune! The Musical at #EdFringe this year (it’s on again). It’s a must see. The most fun version of the tale (I say this while also being of the firm opinion Villeneuve’s Dune II is one of the best films of the 21st century so far). Ps. Below my review of last year :)

Staatssecretaris Judith Tielen geeft aan naar ongewenste beïnvloeding te kijken. Terecht stelt SP TK-lid Sarah Dobbe dat dit ook moet gaan om het onder druk zetten van maatschappelijke organisaties in NL die opkomen voor gelijkheid. 💪 dat Tielen toezegt dit mee te nemen in de Emancipatienota. In de Tweede Kamer vindt nu het Emancipatiedebat plaats. Meerdere Kamerleden uiten zorgen over de groeiende invloed van de anti-rechtenbeweging en hoe deze onze samenleving ondermijnt. Sarah Dobbe (SP) en Bente Becker (VVD) vragen dan ook terecht om de ontwikkeling van een contra-strategie. (1/?)
