I'm willing to wager this isn't the case. I'm noticing that tech debt is resolved faster, projects (especially refactoring projects) are completing well ahead of schedule. People are able to port to more platforms than ever before. Your concern is maybe real but I've yet to notice it.

Normally like Joey's content but the framing around this chart is bad. Musicians didn't "mostly save their jobs", most musicians lost their jobs or could never afford to become pro musicians. a small percentage of the most privileged artists can afford to get started and get a slice of live revenue

It's easy to not using streaming services, just pay 1000s of dollars every year or commit crimes with million dollar penalties.
