Not only on Rogan, and the tech-scene but on the hungry fans, consuming anti-comedy-slop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wn9p...youtube.comHow Comedy Drowned in a Radioactive Cesspool of Corruption and DepravityYouTube video by The Elephant Graveyard 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 11/09/2026If AGI means a model doing a lot of shit I asked it _NOT_ to do, while ignoring what I specified quite detailled, to lie about achieving all goals - we got AGI now. 010 1

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 03/09/2026Sure sounds lovely, but which company actually still practices pair programming and this still does not solve the issue of the necessity to read the code. martinfowler.com/rachels-ramb...martinfowler.comMaybe We Shouldn't Be Reviewing All This CodeOr, perhaps the problem isn't that AI has broken code review, maybe it’s that we've been using code review to solve the wrong problems 000 0
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 02/09/2026I'm not sure that's a fair description - but then again, I'm not consuming a lot of his work. So you're maybe right. In the two podcasts I listened to, it was more about the economics not making sense. 180 8

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 02/09/2026Zitron is calling out a lot of outrageous nonesense on the AI hyper-hypers. Dude seems a lot less deranged when you listen to interviews with him. But then again, he does not seem to have a lot of prediction power. 110 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 02/09/2026I love articles like this: - make predictions - check back and compare against reality That's how you adapt your own personal model of the world! danluu.com/zitron/danluu.comHow accurate have Ed Zitron's AI skeptic predictions been? 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 31/08/2026Yes, seems much more cumbersome tbh. The longer it runs before I check-in, the more "memory-management" needs to happen. 110 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 28/08/2026Interesting tool. Are you using AI when writing? I use it after I wrote the text to find grammar issues and things I'd worded weirdly. That works quite well for me so far. In my last article I cleaned up that way it did find a single match though. 310 3
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 25/08/2026That's as dystopian as Sam Altman talking about auto-generating podcasts for his kids instead of talking to them. 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 18/08/2026I think this should have a good reason to land in production code. Smells like a necessary evil kind of workaround for very specific situations. 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 17/08/2026Speaking from personal experience, the only way that could work, is hiring Jesus. You will need some miracles, since a lot of common sense went out the window of SaaS companies. Or, if that's a thing in your company - involve SRE engineers and get error budgets working. They'll pull the breaks. 030 3
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 14/08/2026I'm more a reader or listener than a watcher. Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 13/08/2026I'm pretty sure that "moderation" is over. Modern software engineering looks very different now and I write code very rarely by hand (for my job). Still a fan of it, though bsky.app/profile/angu... 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 13/08/2026I'll be honest - after playing around with the Blender MCP and Pi - I'm still blown away how easy it gets to get 90s style animations. I unironically like it 000 0

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 31/07/2026That's why I have a hard time with Lynchs movies: They're less about story and plot, and more about the emotions and feelings they invoke - and boy was he a master at evoking those. But I like story, plot and structure. 000 0

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 30/07/2026My ignorance is not enough to prove it's the best or most common way to do it :-) But it's at least _a_ common pattern I know from C and even in similar form from C#'s `out` parameters. 110 1

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 30/07/2026Without knowing what language you're targeting: allocating the memory outside of the function and then working with the reference would omit the necessity of any temporary objects in memory. What is the problem you're trying to solve? Memory spike in the hot-path? 210 2
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 29/07/2026Finished the shannara chronicles with its thrid novel "Wishsong of Shannara", then dove into a horrific medieval France in "Between two fires", to start reading "Bookshops & Bonedust" as an palate cleanser. 000 0

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 27/07/2026What I love about pi is that you simply tell it what you want it to do and it will make it happen. You could simply tell it to increase the token limits and it will. The biggest advantage - which puts it way above claude for me - is its ability to reason about itself. 000 0
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 27/07/2026Interesting - so the compacting crashed for you? Did you tell your pi to simply increase the token limits? I'm using pi quite extensively now, but I never ran into this issue - would be interesting to hear if anyone else has this issue 000 0
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 24/07/2026Ah, the priority - I did not think about it. That's a very valid argument. 000 0
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 23/07/2026I don't use it and I think I'd nitpick it during a CR, without a strong stance on removing it. I'm writing HTML code since the early 2000s and my first impression after seeing your example was: "Hm, sure that works - but why would I do that?" 110 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 29/05/2026Fair. We're clearly not there yet. Question is to me: does it get good enough and how much decreased quality will be accepted by people/markets? People are deploying and releasing quality which was unthinkable bad 10 years ago. And back then, the same was true, and so on. (IMHO at least) 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 29/05/2026As a "tinkerer" who likes to start with code, I'm negatively-biased towards spec-driven-development, but I still wonder wether it is really doomed to fail, or if it is the natural progression of abstraction without taking the reasoning/model-building out of the story. 100 1

Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 08/05/2026The "R" part can't be bold enough. I started to develop my own plan-runner which runs through a 3 step process, having a list of deterministic, non-AI-interpreted checks as step 2. Necessity being cases where I had the agent trying to gaslight me by arguing the test-runner is broken, not the code. 010 1
Martin Kype @angular2react.com · 29/04/2026While I think your spot on about the ideological preference, I think that's a false positive in regards to the symptom. This seems more like a signal that high-trust environments degenerate towards low-trust environments. 000 0
