I can only afford to try a few things this #hottomatosummer and today I was able to snag the Pomod’oro of the day at Baltik’s Bagels. The tomato bagel is so cute! The vodka sauce cream cheese flavor is fantastic. The whole thing is delicious!

We came home today to find that someone had run over one of our groundhogs. (A wild animal that lives in the woods adjacent to our house and occasionally visits our property to munch on clovers.) Did want to leave him out there in the middle of the road so we gave him a proper resting place.

A gray brick with a few wild flowers on top of it sits in the middle of a mound of red clay dirt that was freshly dug up and replaced as a burial place for an animal who passed away.

Beautiful day to be at King’s Dominion, the weather is perfect with a great breeze, and not too crowded. However, if you want to go on any rides, good luck to you. So far we’ve had 5 rides go down either while we were on them or when we were about to get on them.

Richmond, you sold Baltik Bagels out of their Asiago + pink pepper bagels today so I had to get my Tuscan Dirty Bird on a lemon pepper. (My favorite bagel.) It was delicious. Would definitely eat it this way again.

My hand is over the passenger seat of my Subaru holding a huge bagel sandwich containing sun dried tomato pesto, roasted turkey, Duke’s Mayo, massaged kale and kettle cooked potato chips.

I went to a really cute store while in CA recently, and it had little booths where each one was a different vendor. Everything was tagged with price & vendor so no question-asking was needed. Just pay all at once with the cashier when you’re ready. Kind of want to open something like that here.
