Catch me on book tour, and pick up one of these amazing t-shirts or other swag at automaticnoodle.website (yes, this is the exact URL the robots use in the book). 2674392

Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 15/03/2025I’m admittedly not as active here as I like to be but maybe that will change? You can definitely find me on the #NovelGauntlet server and for everywhere else: linktr.ee/anjerari #GauntletChat 181
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 15/03/2025Hmm probably worldbuilding and exploring character relationships, especially non-romantic ones (which I still very much enjoy! it’s just that’s such a main focus already). #GauntletChat 061
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 15/03/2025I find it hard to focus on writing when I’m stressed, but unfortunately that is just my life right now so trying to find the way that I can still incorporate writing despite my brain wanting to turn to “easier” hobbies #GauntletChat 051
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 15/03/2025I’m so excited to get to know my characters! As mentioned in another post, I have my frog and mushroom gods but we also have humans! And they got drama! 021
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 15/03/2025Goal for the #NovelGauntlet is 10k on this new project! Life has been bananas so I’m still trying to ease back into a more regular writing schedule #GauntletChat 242
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 15/03/2025Hello #GauntletChat! I’m angela, a writer of fantasy and sci-fi inspired by anime and video games. For the #NovelGauntlet I’m planning on working on my project, The Frog Witch, which is not about a frog who is a witch, unfortunately, but there is a frog god (and a mushroom god) 🍄🟫🐸 1112

Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 06/12/2023Why work on editing your 100k novel when you can post a 5k fic and get a nice comment on it overnight? (But I should probably stop procrastinating on these edits 🙃) 030
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 04/12/2023Me listening to an audiobook: Wow this next chapter is the longest one yet Me a few min later: oh it’s the smut chapter 😂 010
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 26/11/2023I’ve been meaning to revamp my sewing/craft room for over 1.5 years but something always got in the way. But now! I have the time! And I need to get it done before I start my next cosplay build so let’s goooo 130
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 02/11/2023If you love rich worldbuilding and unique characters I highly highly recommend you pick this up! 020
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 02/11/2023Doing nanowrimo again this year and we’re starting a bit slow with about 1200 words on day 1 but that’s ok 120
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 21/09/2023So at one point I calculated that I would need 475 crochet hexagons for my blanket but after recalculating with updated hexagon sizes I’m actually looking at 345 hexagons… but I already bought all the yarn 110
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 19/09/2023Ahhhh I forgot to share that I finished the first draft of Storm Fall a few days ago!! It clocked in at 106k words but there’s a partial rewrite in there that will be so fun for future Angela to parse out but until then I’m delving into a new project for nano! (and also some fics) 150
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 05/09/2023Me writing a performance review for a colleague I enjoy working with and fighting real hard not to end it with “Big claps for <colleague>” 010
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 31/08/2023100k words on my draft achieved!! The goal for September is to finish it, and it’s very close so I think that’s doable. And then to throw the draft into a corner and not look at it for months 😅 030
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 30/08/2023After my writing sessions yesterday I am now 420 words away from 100k on this draft! 🔥 I’m also so close to the end! 030
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 29/08/2023Been trying to buy some grey yarn off of a website for months but whenever I checked they would be out but TODAY, not only was all the shades I wanted in stock they had a DISCOUNT code. I am now one step closer to my giant hexagonal crochet blanket 🐝 010
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 13/08/2023That urge to play a cozy game but the world has too many good cozy games and also let’s not forget the multiple games I own that I have yet to play 😅 030
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 03/08/2023The main WIP is not done but I’m steadily approaching the end, which has me brainstorming a new project that has been waiting patiently at the back of my mind. I present the mood board for Tea & Coffee (All images from Unsplash) 010
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 03/08/2023Ah yes, another new crochet project because I cannot be confined to one. I’m trying out a thin yarn because I think I’ll like how it looks, but thin yarn also means it does not work up fast 010
Angela Miura @angelamiura.bsky.social · 01/08/2023Best part of an upcoming road trip is looking through the audiobooks you’ve tagged in Libby and figuring out which one to borrow 110
