FINALLY finished a new piece <3 moving day in the year of the 🔥🐴

floating figure drawing 🍵🫖

A group of 3 modern witches and two girls is working to magically move their house belongings across a pretty open grass plain as large clouds float in the sky. One witch is pouring tea in the air for the two girls while admiring her reflection in a mirror and pulling out books. Another is carrying a guitar while floating in the air and striking a conversation, and the third is keeping watch in the sky with her magic tree-flower staff. Where the heck is my husband (Chainsaw Man x Haute Couture ⛓️✨)

A graphic novel idea for all the magic girls!

Sappho went to the Frick (and seen the Islands of Man)

In the middle, under the promenade of collapsing marble, a group of three woman look out at the angel - one seated who I imagine like the poet Sappho, her attendant raising an ornate fan, and another modernly dressed trans woman with devil horns. At the right, one woman walks away carrying a bloodied bag dripping over her dress, while at the furthest wall to the right sits a woman playing a Bull-Head Lyre such as one found from the Royal Tombs of Ur in modern day Iraq. These two woman are also dressed in regal Mesopotamian garb. There is no indication outside of the columns and doors of the courtyard of where we are, or what time or space this is. Standing on ground level, we are simply among women.

Hey #portfolioday! I'm a #KidLit book designer by day and an illustrator by rest-of-the-day savoring any chance they can get to make personal art :') Love drawing lots of details, academic art, and costumed ladies ✨

A super detailed digital illustration showing an interior courtyard scene based off of the architecture of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s courtyard arches and ornament, broken up into different sections arranged in non-linear and isometric perspective (sort of in the tradition of Persian and SE Asian miniature painting). An outdoor nighttime scene set in a back alleyway mixed-with-a traditional Chinese garden pavilion where multiple characters from the Final Fantasy video game series are gathered around in a little garden courtyard surrounded by houses and walls. In the grass yard sits an ornate, classical American style table holding a blue-gold tea pot and cup set, along with chairs, and a small, green-marble topped side table that’s holding two vases with flowers and a blue-gold pitcher. Behind the furniture and courtyard rise tall, white birch trees. In the background close by is the tall side of a house with an open lit window and hanging laundry on the roof top above. Nonagon infinity opens the door ❤️‍🔥🪄✨

A hyper-colorful, chromatic fantasy scene divided into three panels. The middle panel depicts a group of angelic sorceresses with staff and sword appeasing a large fire goddess in a landscape embedded with swords and crumbling runes with mosaic and pattern decorations while a waterfall in canyon rift cuts through the landscape. A 4th sorceress in the middle activates a runinc-stone structure while a girl in a blazing fireball descends from the sky above. A modernly dressed femme character sits in the foreground sketching in a book. On the flanking side panels are depictions of the Moon and Sun rendered as a transfemme and transmasc human persona respectively. Just finished the amazing scifi show Pantheon and really thinking about how these works (and there are more!) reflect each other in such a lovely way. I think it's how they invite you to a vantage point that seems so vast and beyond any realm of possible embodied experience
