Everyone keeps making fun of the "zero internality" AI guy and yes he is dumb and hollow but I think also he has just never done anything creative. The reason schools have art classes and you take humanities in college is so that you understand that the world extends beyond the surface of things.

Who knew that game where you spend 95% of it in blasted out, post-apocalyptic tokyo killing gods and demons alike could be a comfort game. I'm dying for a switch 2 version to drop so I can play through it again

Exactly. I am tired of seeing the “I always knew”/“their work was actually bad” takes whenever allegations emerge. Sometimes—often, actually!—bad people find their way into good spaces and make good things. And you’re not better than the folks who were taken advantage of for “always knowing”

random encounters exist because the combat is fun you are supposed to enjoy it, if you dont enjoy it you should be playing a different video game, i dont understand how this conversation keeps happening

The striders are cool but definitely over done. I must broaden my horizons to the lalondes or something

Realizing one of my OCs for my album is just a Dave Strider expy. I will not elaborate on this further

Rainy @andyomon00.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I will. Heavensward set up some really interesting plot threads that I'm looking forward to following

010

Rainy @andyomon00.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Finally finished heavensward. Pretty good stuff even if I have minor issues with the story. Fuck that penultimate boss fight though

Yay! I was a bit worried because I know FT players have restrictions but I'm absolutely gonna give it a whirl now that I know I can

Does anyone know if free trial players can do FFXV event?

000

She looks like she's going to cause problems...on purpose. Anyway I hope you have a good time with FFXIV, it's a lot of fun

Going back to old FLPs is so funny because it either me going "i kinda cooked with this" or "why did he do that? is he stupid"

030

Rainy @andyomon00.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Exciting! I'm not if we'll run into each other because there's a shit ton people but I hope you have a fun time. Magfest is easily my favorite con I go to

021

Rainy @andyomon00.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Magfest selling out in 5 hours is absurd and frankly is a failure on magfest's part. Got my ticket but no one should buy on day one or not go at all

You can have criticisms of the guy while still acknowledging the ways in which the imperial core headed by the US (and other western powers) have systematically destroyed the lives of people overseas. If you think pointing this out makes you a traitor, I highly recommend reexamining your values

People like to be weird about the Aegis (+ Nia) polycule but you cannot convince me that it's Rex's harem. That shit was probably Nia's idea and he's just happy to be there.

Rainy @andyomon00.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I kinda like that Shimmer confirms my theory that Glimmer gets her personality from Mythra while she gets her personality from Pyra. I dunno where Mio's personality comes from because it's sure not Nia lmao

Rainy @andyomon00.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

People saying it looks like AI are giving AI too much credit. It definitely overly rendered but the art direction is pretty cohesive. Considering what the original was going for at the time, it's not really shocking that this is the direction they went with it.

I think Harry Potter has reached the same level of odiousness as something like Rurouni Kenshin to me and that's pretty impressive given how much I loathe the latter for author's crimes

I would 100% support a law that says if any digital platform removes your access to media you paid for then they are required to refund you the entirety of the original purchase price. That would solve this whole thing in a hurry.
