I was watching this last night and was really struck by how all the properties were owned by English people. And even the judges were English and/or v middle class. But the guy they got to show 'the other side' doing the cleaning etc was Scottish. Why do we do this to ourselves?

I'm sure I'm one of scores of unlucky people today who received a rejection for the Touring Fund. It's gutting. Over the last 4 years we made 5 high quality shows and built brilliant relationships with theatres & their audiences, but we won't be out on the road next year, which is deeply frustrating
