Little PS Portal update…seems it was my PS5 that was the problem. Where it was situated, the WiFi has terrible (~15mbps). I got a booster (which I should have done ages ago anyway), hardwired the ps5 in and now around 140-150mbps. Portal works flawlessly now

Chatting to a mate about his lad saving up £100 over the last few months to buy FC27 (I think it’s a football game…) and thinking “that’s insane!” and then remembering the cost of games in the early 90s… £50 for NES Gremlins 2… that’s £115 in today’s money 😳

I guess so, but in order to conform to that minimum standard bar you have to buy into DAMA…and I just wonder if all that time to go through it (even being certified) is ultimately worth it. I remember a job a few years ago banging on about it but once they realised the overheads…

I’ve never used DAMA-DMBOK in any data projects, and after 25 years in data not sure I’m ever going to. The principles just seem to be “common concepts” in data anyway, what makes DAMA special? i find myself once again looking through materials and thinking “ok…so?” dama.org/dmbok2r-info...
