I learnt along time ago, it’s not the cat’s fault they’re filthy, but ours for not being appropriately dressed to accommodate them on our laps….

Not entirely sure what is remarkable enough about Woolton Hall to warrant a G1 listing. I used to go to meetings there in the 1980s (not Masonic ones, before anyone asks). It was a nice building, but in the same class as St George’s Hall or the Albert Dock? Not by a country mile.

Ok not quite your recipe of the day, but I made your butternut squash and sweet potato curry tonight (freewheeled with a few additional green beans). Delicious - thank you for the recipe!

Anyone stupid enough to think that they meant a BBQ rather than, you know, a burning house or field was always going to angry about the government doing something to warn people about the dangers we’re facing just now.

Meta now lets anyone use your Instagram photos in AI images without your consent. SAG-AFTRA recommends that #SagAftraMembers (and all Instagram users) opt-OUT of Meta’s new AI image generation tool, Muse Image. Take action to protect your likeness.
If you want to avoid AI generations of your Instagram posts without switching your account to private, you’ll have to dig into the app’s settings. Open the Instagram app, tap your profile, and then tap the three lines in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, scroll down to the Sharing and reuse tab. Here is where you should see a section labeled Allow people to use your content on Instagram and with AI features on Meta, with a toggle for Posts and one for Reels.

Manufacturing is already accounting for 10% of jobs in the north west - in some parts like Pendle and Burnley it’s as high as 15%. Looking at falling U.K. % risks overlooking importance of the sector in many parts of the country.

He absolutely did not say that. His full speech is on the BBC. What he actually said was “And becoming a party that, once again, stood proudly with, not against, our national flag.” Even when the social media masses get their way, they can help but twist people’s words just a bit more.

They simply can’t sustain or comprehend a day without a drama, so feel they need to stoke any wisps of Westminster gossip that come along. Yet they will ignore major stuff like £5m ‘donations’ to a party leader. Make it make sense 🤷‍♂️

💯 agree. When I was a kid (longer ago than many think) major new legislation used to get real, in depth coverage on the news. It was educational. Now, barely a raised eyebrow. I honestly believe that (as you suggest) the lobby has become hooked on the catnip of political drama since the referendum.
