Probably the giant spider from an episode of Gilligan's Island. Another early one was an episode of Wonder Woman where multiple times the Toymaker's robots (who looked human) melted whenever Wonder Woman's lasso made them tell the truth.

I'm not talking about the ones who remain true believers but the ones who are starting to open their eyes a little.

A difficult thing for for Dem voters is you may have to forgive 3 time Trump voters. The reality is in the midterms you need to flip as many as you can. It's not about forgiving them for their sake as for your country's sake. You need to give them an offramp to swallow their pride and switch sides.

People still need to vote as if they're behind in the polls and it's all hands on deck. The 47 admin will block every Dem vote they can and probably succeed in some cases so everyone else needs this to be decisive. Trump is dying but he's also at his most dangerous. The world's counting on you.

You can learn a lot from him, such as how bleach can kill COVID, windmill sounds are carcinogenic, a rake is an effective means of stopping forest fires, his successful election campaign against Obama, his invention of many common words (plus that covfefe is an actual word and not a typo) etc

Maybe Trump didn't want it to look too much like the one who attacked him.

There are some checkers game sets (and other games) that have magnetic pieces. Those could be played silently without much risk of the pieces moving.

If the 47 administration wants people to say SI instead of AI let's have some fun with it and pronounce it "sigh". SI, they're acting weird again.

The one thing I do like about it is we can pronounce that acronym "sigh". SI, they're morons with too much power.

Last night I dreamt that Wikipedia's list of deaths in 2026 listed Tilly Norwood as deactivated (sadly something that hasn't happened yet). In the dream I was annoyed that they listed a non sentient AI being but also glad she was deactivated and that I had found out from that site.

There's a grain of truth to that but probably not for the reasons he means. Residential schools, sterilization of indigenous women, first Prime Minister being particularly racist etc. But I fear those would be pluses for him.

While I haven't seen those specifically where I live (Victoria) I don't doubt they're around and I've been lucky to not see them. In 2021 a contingent of honkers made everyone who lived or worked near the Legislature miserable every Saturday until the police blocked them from entering the area.

I felt bad for little girls after the 2024 election because the choice was a woman or someone who in civil court was found to have sexually assaulted a woman (and who was also found guilty of other crimes) and the latter won. What adults decide youth pick up on.

The only way that exceptionalism should ever come into play is as something to strive for even if one never entirely gets there. Agreed that the notion of exceptionalism as birthright is poison.
