"It's just a headache." Migraines are far worse than headaches. They impact vision, feel skull-splittingly painful and make it impossible to function properly. They are debilitating, chronic and can last an awfully long time, even days.

You can be a good person & still have a past that would ruin your reputation at the wrong dinner table. Life is weird like that.
Sometimes your worst years are what make you better later. And sometimes the reason you're so careful now is because you remember the damage you were capable of.
That's the uncomfortable origin story of a lot of good people. Turns out shame can grow a conscience if you let it.

Came to the realisation that I, as a teen on the web, 13-ish and from then upwards, did roleplays with partners who were likely +18... and the stories would go into adult themes... Kinda don't feel okay with that anymore? It's fucked up in hindsight... Early internet was wild... Creepy.

As a European, it's so disheartening to hear about the USA. There's never any good news. It only seems to get worse. However, I am incredibly grateful for the people standing up to this terror. We went down this path in 1933-1939 and it's full of horror. This nightmare has to end. Fuck ICE & Trūmp.

I liked building the houses in The Sims, then stopped. Started studying architecture, almost went to do game design because I loved the environments of Alien Isolation so much, but had to choose the more "future-certain" option. Then was too stubborn to give up on my studies. Now. am archeeteckt.
