It’s only a visual inspection, no NFC. Color doesn’t convey meaning, it’s just a screen that has color. It’s not different pass types or anything like that. Also, it’s just this one driver, the others let me past. But yeah, this probably isn’t worth making a stink about.

I want opinions on this. I use a color filter accessibility setting on my phone. I use my phone for bus tickets, and you show your screen to the bus driver. This one driver, has been saying my tickets are “the wrong color”, and making me turn it off.

Amtrak just canceled my train for tomorrow afternoon due to a storm, so I made the impulse decision to rebook it for about ~10 minutes from now. Currently in the back of an Uber on the way to the station. This may be an impulsive mistake, but fuck it.

Just saw yet another American Psycho meme, and it reminded me of something. Up until recently, I didn’t know the movie was about a murderer, and thought it was just a commentary about how businessmen are psychopaths. I thought that was a reasonable take based on the memes and clips I saw.

Favorite thing to make when I didn’t plan ahead: Pasta with a butter and garlic sauce and broccoli. Basically boil the pasta and broccoli, drain the pasta, melt half a stick of butter into the pasta, add 2 cloves crushed garlic, about 1/3 cup of the pasta water, add broccoli. Cheap and easy.
