Will pretending he's the smartest guy in the room but unironically demonstrates with this post that he's unable to connect contextual clues that yes you can be more partisan despite not filing briefs.

Why do people post stuff like this where: 1. They say Platner will be Fetterman 2.0 without any shred of persuasive evidence 2. Disable replies/quoting

This reminds me at around the RNC 2024 where the media were unloading puff pieces of how Trump was a changed man after Butler, which was obviously not the case to anyone who has followed politics for more than 5 minutes.

Dan believes the Kagan school of thought of being an institutionalist and trying to convince the 'other side' with supposed FACTS and LOGIC will win them over. We have mountains of evidence they don't care but that won't stop Dan trying to kick the football that Alito, Thomas, et al are holding.

One of the things that drives me nuts are when Republicans do the move of “I oppose [depraved/offensive thing here] because it personally affects me”. Former OH Senator Rob Portman did it when he favored SSM after finding out their kid was gay, after spending years of opposing the right.

CA5 (2 Trump appointees in majority) cripples NLRB enforcement powers from prosecuting unfair labor practice cases against SpaceX, citing removal protections that federal labor law gives board members and agency judges likely violate the U.S. Constitution. app.box.com/s/8i6jrb1kcq...

Garnett posting as if he’s not projecting. The whole conservative legal movement has been built on deciding issues beyond the text, see e.g. the whole project against the administrative state turning on ‘I know it when I see it’ major questions doctrine that happens to mostly go against progressives

Man, the most slick thing Roberts did in CASA was assigning Barrett the opinion because her writing so effectively hoodwinks liberal law professors it's unreal. No other conservative can pull off this kind of heist where people like Bagley are out here DEFENDING this horrendous opinion.

@profjpc.bsky.social re: Bove nomination. Am I missing something or is he not the prototypical fedsoc nominee with a paper trial (e.g. Matey, Porter, Bibas)? Like he seems to be a “conservative” judge from the Burger era.

Just a horrendous NYT article where Kantor simplifies Barrett's disastrous votes to statistics of how often she voted with the conservatives, makes sense given she quotes the very misinformed Sarah Isgur. Kantor even tries to downplay her role vote in Dobbs. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/15/u...

This recession that's coming is the most highly telegraphed recession in history, in that it became nearly certain the day Trump was elected.

This isn't a surprise. Compare Alito's views on disparate impact on housing discrimination (TX Dept of Housing -2015), voting rights (Brnovich - 2021) versus when there's a whiff of disparate impact that would help a group he views favorably (Coalition for TJ - 2024)
