Ran one where I redacted abstracts from MS journal articles and had the students (in groups) proposed which instrument from our MS facility they would use for the analysis and why. Helped them learn about our department's MS instruments and their key capabilities.

Reminds me of an old paper from the Journal of Irreproducible Results on how to tell T-cells from B-cells based on micrographs that had T-shaped and B-shaped internal structures respectively. Now out of print and offline unfortunately - would have liked to post the figure for reference.

Wow...Obviously there are state-by-state differences in cost of living and no info here on where survey was done. But at face value, GenZ only considers approx top 5% of all wage earners as financially successful. Winner take all culture exemplified.

My favorite tip is to use logic models effectively to make clear what you will be doing as part of the study and how the data will relate to specific outcomes and outputs. They are best developed during the early planning phase of the grant before any writing is done.
