Exciting bird moment at the new place: a sudden Scrub Jay appears! I’d never seen one before! I was feeding the punky youth Steller’s Jays and then it just plopped right onto the roof and squawked back and forth with this one for a sec before they both flew off. 😍

Spent the weekend at Fire in the Mountains, hosted for the second time by the Blackfeet Nation near East Glacier Park Village. Coming home is a heavy dose of emotional whiplash, especially given the state of both my own personal affairs and the rest of the world.

We spotted this at SeaTac on the way to the gate, fittingly as we head to Great Falls on the way to Fire In The Mountains:
