AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 11hYou said it best! It does harken back to that era of games. What a great time. 010
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 11hThat's fair. It does get quite tough halfway through. Good luck finishing it. It's worth it. 010

AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 18hYeah, I mean Truckful launched on Friday, just like so many other games. I like your thoughts and honestly there are things that could work better but for me the issues weren't as aggravating. These days I value friction, and having the patience to overcome it. (Sometimes, others I just quit lol) 110
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 18hIt IS a chore, I completely agree with that. Like there were times I was swearing because I fell off a cliff or got hit by the "demon valley" as I mention in the review. But the checkpoints make you respawn quite quickly too. Tho I understand some folks will give up halfway, the friction is there. 010
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 18hWell the game does tell you exactly what you need for the mission, either a winch or the ram of whatever it may be. I thought that the friction was worth the hassle in the end. And I disagree with that assessment, it has a complete narrative and accomplishes what it's aiming for. 110

AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 20hHappy birthday Matt 🥳🥳 have an amazing time and thanks for what you do for gaming 020
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I think that while it does get a bit intense by the third act it always gives you the tools to fight back, especially on the relaxed difficulty. 020
Reposted by AndresPlaysAndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Finished Silver Pines. This game has everything. Demons. Rockstars. Detectives in trenchcoats. A crippling anxiety as the world ends around you. Sure, it takes a page from classic survival horror games you've played before but when its metroidvania design is this satisfying all is forgiven. 127811
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Rightfully getting cooked for this misguided post. 020
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 12/10/2026This person writing, "The culture on X today is remarkably friendly and inclusive. It is a cheerful place." is outright ignorant at best. I can point out to a staggering amount of harassment and hostility happening today. Go to X if you want, but don't delude yourself. 130
AndresPlays @andresplays.bsky.social · 12/10/2026In retrospect you're so correct, I remember conversations just breaking down and hurling insults to anyone who openly liked the game. Still happens. 110
