Currently in Portugal and just experienced the biggest thunderstorm in my life. Sky was flashing non-stop for 30 minutes. Felt like I was in a videogame.

Just got home from Nexus Games Conference. Couldn't stay for the post conference drinks, but I really enjoyed the talks and meeting the always super friendly people. Highly recommend catching the next edition if you didn't this year!

Had the opportunity to playtest and give feedback for Trainatic by @ryanforrester.bsky.social, and I had an absolute blast! There's something about incremental games that scratches an itch, and pairing that with trains made this a great fit for me! You should definitely wishlist it :)

Continuing to make leather pieces, and today I made a wallet! Absolutely love how the piece turned out, but I think I'm also super happy with the way the pictures turned out. I used to use a gray background, but the blue really makes the leather pop!

Because I'm cheap, or maybe because Shopify is expensive these days (30€ per month? Really?), I've been setting up everything manually, using Python/Django, AWS S3, Docker, HTML, CSS, etc. It's been nice to remember some of these skills I don't get to use every day!

While I've had some free time from clients, I've been working on something a little different. For the past few months I've been setting up a wood artistry brand! It's a little different from my usual day to day (aka, programming), but it's been a fun way to spend some time!

Just place this script inside ScriptTemplates and restart Unity, and any new scripts will be created without the default Start & Update, and without any unused imports! Link for more templates: github.com/imandresilva...

You can create custom script templates in Unity! Last I checked, you had to do some brittle changes in the Unity install folder to have these show up, but not anymore! Create a ScriptTemplates folder in your root Assets directory, and any templates you create will show up!
