The author blocked me for this 🤦‍♂️. If you love the web, but hate AI, now must be a very confusing time. If we want more people to have their own website, AI is by far our best bet. I will still prefer a hand crafted site any day but that is not for everyone.

We spent so much time trying to figure out if we could base nordcraft on web components but the cons just massively outweighed the pros :(. You can export individual components as web-components though.

Not really no. Scoping is nice in theory, but then you are either giving up SSR or duplicating a lot of style tags.

No probably not. But eventually there will be a reaction to it. When node came out, every experienced engineer told us that js on the server was a terrible idea. It was, but we didn’t listen and eventually js on the server became a somewhat less terrible idea. This might be like that.

I never work with a specific set of break points. I haven’t for many years. I set the break points based on the design, rather than the design based on break points. The only time I am reusing breakpoints is when elements are nested, so the inner and outer styles has to match.
