Duolingo has created a disturbingly thirsty chess bot. Contrary to the ad’s claim, the time my teen spends engaging with this bot *is* time entirely wasted. And the matter of time lost only begins to express why it is *not* ‘worth it’. Parenting in this moment is an absolute minefield.

Spotted in London, Ontario. In case you’re confused and looking for a clear & logical rationale for vaccination, it might be helpful to know that: 🔴 measles is spreading in southwestern Ontario; and, 🔴 measles is an *airborne*, highly contagious & deadly virus.

Counterpoint: we could alternatively do less-than-nothing at all, and see how it all shakes out? CO2 depicted is from a funeral home in Essex County, ON. Is there an ongoing outbreak of a highly infectious pathogen in the area? 🤷‍♀️
