フィードのコストがそんなに掛かるとは知らなかった。2000Likesを超える高いニーズがあるのに、サービス終了はとても惜しい。公式 @bsky.app で引き継いで貰えないのだろうか。 I didn't know the feed cost so much. It's a shame to see the service end, especially with such high demand over 2000 likes. I wonder if the official @bsky.app could take over.

@bsky.app What is a label on account? I have a picture of a public statue from the town centre in Mahon Menorca. What are the consequences of a label? How is a public statue from a town centre that is in no way graphic (i.e not nipples or private parts). This seems extremely heavy handed.

I mean, fair, I also often would like to follow someone for their tech content but not e.g. political posts or other stuff that isn't interesting for me, but then I just pick who I follow and who I don't… also feeds here are probably the best solution for this problem we've had so far anywhere.

Also, other big platforms (IG, Threads, Twitter to a lesser extent) actively reward behavior that is considered a blockable offense here. In particular, people feel like they need to follow-farm to get their posts seen on those platforms because of The Algorithm™.

It's starter packs. I had a bunch of people follow me thinking I'm going to spoon-feed and dumb down every post because I'm in a journalism starter pack and are then astonished when they realise the reason these bizarre impenetrable posts are in their timeline is because they in fact follow me.

it's sort of funny that we kinda already have them but not in the context we actually want them to be. when you look at Clearsky for some user they have a self "Private Account" label, though i think that's more to do with permission to harvest your data via the API

Clear sky says you’ve got 4 labels, you marking your account as private, @joined-labeler.shatteredsky.net, @pronouns.diy, and @oracle.posters.rip which has labeled every account. Every label there is completely benign, most are voluntary.

I recently fixed an issue that was preventing labels from issuing. The labeling service is configured to restart nightly and occasionally requires a manually restart -- please be patient if you are waiting for a label or negation.
