andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 18/06/2025Best I've heard is that Odyssey/Bananza Pauline is a different Pauline than the OG blonde one. Or Cranky's backstory isn't canon and the events of the arcade DK games are actually arcade games in-universe inspired by events with DK/Mario/Pauline 🤷 010
andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 07/06/2025The lack of 3 laps in Mario Kart World is tough to get used to. But with the Switch 2 being backwards compatible with 8, I think MKW needed something drastic to standout more and this definitely did it. I'm really liking it so far 💖media.tenor.coma cartoon character is riding a bike on a roadALT: a cartoon character is riding a bike on a road 000
andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 03/06/2025I think a lot of these new games are too concerned with pushing tech limits instead of what's actually fun. We could have an 8 player Witcher game that looks like its for the PS3 and it'd easily get GOTY. 000
andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 28/05/2025It would have to be R rated, animated and a full fledged musical 010

andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 23/04/2025There are going to be, if not already, generations of people who are nostalgic for the GameCube controller having never touched an actual GameCube which fascinates me. I hope they consider releasing some of these in alternative colors in the future. 041
andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 17/04/2025Comparing it with the 2X longer Mario Kart 8 Direct in the Wii U days, it's a bit underwhelming. I was disappointed they didn't save any "wow" moments for the direct. I was expecting at minimum a cool cutscene setpiece to kick it off given its scale 010

andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 28/02/2025I'll die on this hill. This was the most aesthetically consistent main series #Pokemon title on switch. The rest have enough pretty set pieces for the back of their game cases 010

andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 16/01/2025Melee has its own ✨vibe✨ whereas Mario Kart Wii was the beginning of the "uniform era" of the Mario series. I just think about all the reflective surfaces 😖 Melee wasn't afraid to try new things and be so so weird in the best way. 010

I get its a handheld, but stuff like this makes me worried gaming is running out of ideas www.youtube.com/watch?v=itpc...youtube.comNintendo Switch 2 – First-look trailerYouTube video by Nintendo of America 7024715

andi4gold @andi4gold.bsky.social · 20/11/2024I loved Kinect Sports so much 😭 It invoked the same ✨magic✨ as Wii Sports while also being it's own thing entirely and it still holds up. And it had The Beach Boys in its soundtrack which was another plus 000
