My dad instilled a love of vehicles in me from about the age of two. I think that’s when he started teaching me how to drive. But if I had to point to a single vehicle, it would be his truck when I was a wee lass. A cab-over Freightliner. From there it spread to other vehicles.

This painting makes me terribly happy. I think it's because he looks like my dog after we trim his beard back.

We have the great fortune of having a real chef in the family. He’s orchestrating tonight’s delayed Christmas dinner. All I know is that there will be moose ravioli, seafood, and something turkey. He’s requested the juicer, the food dehydrator, pine branches, and the vacuum sealer thing.
