Book review that says: This was written/published before the second Trump administration and called the likely overturn of Roe v Wade. It also gives a lot of ideas and hope on how to combat this to ensure access to abortion isn't completely banned. It's an inspiring story that once again makes me resent my middle school teacher who told me I was too young to want to be a lawyer and basically ensured I didn't become one because it was "too big of a goal". I also like how they repeatedly emphasize that women of color are key to any progress, and the intersectionality work of Kimberle Crenshaw is basically essential to making more progress. If we can work together across activist groups and states then we can save ourselves from the control the government wishes to place on us. It's a great and important read and I do hope there's a follow up now that their predictions have come to pass.
