Quick illustration that I did for practice only. Lots of fun, though! All done in procreate. #illustration #horseillustration #procreate #procreateillustration #digitalart #horsesketch

sad to report that not creating anything for several months at a time is actually exactly what art needs sometimes, and that's why my art suffers deeply when forced into capitalist commercial frameworks lmao

just a quick reminder that AI art is theft, produces a lot of pollution, and undermines one of humanity's best qualities

Iris from my flash (plus a dragonfly by request from my client). Only doing nature scenes recently but I'm not complaining! 💛 #tattoo #neotraditional #flowertattoo #animaltattoo #neotraditionaltattoo

Some new flash for smaller gaps that can be changed into other sorts of stones as well. I just liked the colors 🥲 #wannadotattoo #wannado #flashtattoo #tattooflash #tattooart #neotraditional #neotraditionaltattoo

Some quick doodleing in between. Odd enough that each time I try out some new pencils/brushes/pens I sketch an eye first as it comes easiest to me somehow (and usually has an immediate effect & expression). #sketch #sketching #doodle #alcoholmarkers #artwork #tattooart

Peony flower that I worked on recently. Always love some black and grey between the color explosions that usually include using a gazillion towels 😂 #peonyflower #peony #neotraditional #tattoo #tattooed #inked #neotraditionaltattoo

The difference just 4 years can make when land is released from overgrazing. Nothing was planted here: all these native trees, wildflowers, etc, came naturally, along with loads of butterflies, birds, + other animal life. THIS is how we reverse nature loss. #Rewilding 🌍

And while we're still at it (and before I'll likely continue with the tattoos): this was probably one of my closest encounters with botanical painting. A maranta study from some five years ago mostly painted with acrylic inks 🌿 #botanicalpainting #painting #artwork #illustration #maranta #plants

Quick watercolor study. Haven't touched anything water-soluble in ages, so it went kinda okayish 🫠 Hope I can find the time to do more of these! #artwork #rosepainting #wip #flowerpainting #tattooart #watercolorpainting

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

I gotta say, “women are going to space” sounds a lot nicer than “the ultra rich are taking hyper-polluting joyrides to space while the planet descends into climate chaos”
