Photographers are considered artists even though they don’t paint the picture, don’t create the subject, and didn’t invent the camera. They’re valued for framing, lighting, timing, and taste. If they know what they want, they can make the camera capture it. Programming is the same.

Seems to be a lazy day for my whole city. I woke up after 10 when I usually am already eating breakfast by 7-9. Reached the gym around 1230 as opposed to the usual 8-10 and turns out that my friends who arrive around 12 are yet to reach. Also, the gym is so empty today there's like 4 people.

Pakistani driver logic - Drive dangerously fast in residential areas, car parks and anyplace walkable - Drive slower than walking on roads. Bonus points for braking to a halt in the fast lane. If we switched overnight to left-hand drive, no one will notice and everyone would be more correct.

I walked into the gym yesterday to be greeted by a very familiar smell. After a few seconds I realized it smelled like food from a very specific airline I flew a lot as a kid.

Built my first ever sandcastle yesterday. Was adding a moat—you can somewhat see the incomplete drawbridge—but had to abandon it for lunch. By the time I got back, the waves had decimated it completely and taken my goggles and nose clip—both I'd owned since I first learned to swim at 13—with it.

This was my third attempt at digital art. At this point I think I realized that I was far from being insanely talented but could probably manage it if I tried hard enough. Also Inkscape. Don't remember how long it took so could be anywhere between 4 to 8 hours.
