Savage Beastfly in a pit of lava is up there with Bed of Chaos for some of the worst bosses of all time

They are not rosaries. They are beads

I got FL Studio a few weeks back to learn how to do it and it is genuinely some of the most fun and artistically satisfying shit I’ve done. Like I did not know it was this much fun. I’m obviously still learning and not great at it, but even then it’s still fun to just mess around

I’ve been having a need for just positive vibes media and Frieren, Delicious in Dungeon, and Superman have given me just that. I’ve been trying to find a game to match this energy but I can’t for some reason idk

“I wish I could erase my memory and play this game for the first time again” people don’t know real pain if they’re not referring to Outer Wilds. Like with other games or movies or whatever you can at least re-experience them, Outer Wilds is the only thing you get one of and that’s it

I love taiko no tatsujin, but never has a game filled me with more pure, fiery rage

Just finished my rewatch of Samurai Champloo. Still an amazing show

I got a switch 2 on launch day and I just realized the only game I’ve played on it the past 5 days has been Mario Golf for the Nintendo 64

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

Just finished Deltarune chapters 3 and 4. I still think Undertale is the greatest game ever made (not my favorite) for how it fully takes advantage of everything the medium of video games was designed to do, but Deltarune is probably the better game if you know what I mean

Somehow the game Void Stranger always seems to be a game I can never stop thinking about. It’s somehow crossed my mind my mind everyday since I finished it, and it’s been like 10 or 11 months since I have. Just such a good game

I don’t like the idea of an Elden Ring movie. I don’t like the idea of most video game film adaptations, and that’s because what comes with that is this implication that video games can only be considered art if portrayed in a “prestigious” medium. Games are art and should be allowed to be games

Spoilers for expedition 33: I haven’t done all of the side content yet, but what if the writers the game talks about destroying the lives of the Dessendre family are just the writers of the game inflicting every ounce of trauma they can on this fictional family

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 13/05/2025

I finished Expedition 33. Phenomenal and something that I’m glad got as big as it did. Even more than that though, it has a message I think I really needed to hear right now. It kind of came at the exact right time for me

I got to Act 3 about an hour ago. I’ve had an interesting day, from it being pretty all right to receiving some of the worst news I’ve heard in my life. That scene with Maelle and Verso on the bench wrecked me because of it

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

I finished Act 1 of Expedition 33. I am not ok

I started Yo-Kai Watch 4 recently on what is most definitely my Nintendo switch. I cried 5 times in the first hour due to the childhood nostalgia just rushing back

Tracken 8 season 2 sucks, but my love of Tekken itself is still there, especially after actually just now playing season 2 for the first time since I was on vacation last week lol

Holy shit guys look it’s Tracken 8. Wait you said this was Tekken 8? I thought Tekken 8 didn’t exist. It stopped at seven. This is their new series Tracken… right?

I finished Silent Hill 2 the other night and I’m having to grapple with its ending and Severance’s ending. This is too much

000

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 21/03/2025

Severance, I love you, but I also hate you. But I also really love you

000

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

Today I was reminded once again of the greatness that is Yo-Kai Watch 2. Such an underrated series I swear. You all don’t know what you missed out on

000

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

A few days ago, as I was stuck inside with my covid sickness, I began a game I’ve been wanting to play for an incredibly long time: Silent Hill 2. The original Silent Hill 2. I’m like 6 hours in and holy shit

Went back on Twitter to just see what would happen and I found a bunch of P3 March 5th fanart and Jason Ritter showing off his martial arts skills. That actually wasn’t too bad

Anaben Skywalker @anabenskywalker.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

The reason I haven’t started MH Wilds yet is cause with monster hunter for some reason the hype doesn’t hit me on release and I normally just end up waiting 6 months to a year before getting the game after everyone else has had their time with it and I get to enjoy it in my own little bubble

I reached Garyu in Tekken 8, which is my first Tekken. This is as my first ranked goal and I’m feeling pretty proud of myself right now

I started Everhood today. This game is fantastic and I’m only an hour in

The Super Bowl is 20000x better when you block out all of the inherently racist conversations happening around you by putting headphones on and start listening to video game soundtracks

I’ve had the Outer Wilds collector’s edition for switch for 5 months and only just now did I learn it came with a kazoo too. @mobiusdigitalgames.com I love you
