My first ceramic critter in part inspired by your little guys

June Bug is also choice, and I’ve had good luck getting it to crystalize

Small handmade clay bowl; the outside has carved swirls that are filled with green glaze, and the inside surface has facets and the same green glaze. The inside of the bowl is covered with micro crystals that give it a shimmery iridescent effect

This is amazing and protopasta is GREAT STUFF. Incredible colors and effects in their “regular” line plus a bunch of incredibly cool specialty filaments. My hot tip: Candy Apple Red and Joel’s Highfive Blue are *perfect* if you ever want to print a Spidey

Here’s Kurzon (with a came from his brother Ponder). SPCA’s Finest. They are both INCREDIBLY pretty cats.

Young creamsicle-colored cat lying on his back with his tummy fur exposed and his feet in the air. One paw is in front of his eyes but you can see his little nose. His tail is a majestic cloud of fluff

Creamsicle-colored cat lying on his side with his tail stretched out in a fluffy cloud and his neck at an angle that’s only comfortable for cats. His paws are tucked up next to his body and he is sleeping with a smiley face

A creamsicle-colored cat sitting up so that he’s got his elbow propped up against a person’s forearm like he’s sitting up and watching tv like a person himself

Grey and creamsicle-colored cats sleeping on a couch snuggled together. They are very soft and the grey cat is in a weird boneless position so you don’t even see his head

Please enjoy Kurzon and his fluffy tail and feets

These are my buddies! The cow cat is Wolfie, the all-black is Q, and the tuxie is Oz!

A very soft-looking cat with a very phallic marking on his face lies on a velvety blanket. He is very content, with his paws curled up and his belly exposed and sleepy eyes.

An elderly cat stands on a heating pad in the poster's (enclosed) back patio. She is stubbornly insisting on sitting in the poster's lap despite the perfectly good heating pad

A dapper tuxedo cat with silky medium length fur lies on a velvety blanket. He is so relaxed that he's in a silly position, with his head smooshed into the blanket, sort of on his back, with his arm draped across his chest. One eye is half open and he has a sleepy smile.

Very grateful that @jonrosenberg.bsky.social reminded me to actually claim my SFAM Kickstarter rewards - these will help get me through the next 48 hours or so... Also, Volume 5 is GORGEOUS

All 5 paperback volumes of the comic "Scenes From A Multiverse" by Jonathan Rosenberg, fanned out

Oz would like me to know that his dinner is LATE. How dare.

Finished a piece of coloring tonight that I'm real poor proud of! Pepin Press postcard of Shichiri Beacgh, colored with Derwent Drawing pencil

Wolfie was making it very difficult to get out of bed this morning

A white and black spotted cat lying on a grey fuzzy blanket. He is very soft and is relaxed and loosely curled up on his side with his feets by his face.

The face of a blank and white spotted cat, lying on a grey fuzzy blanket. Photo is framed like a selfie of the cat since he has a front paw extended towards the camera and the camera is resting on the bed to be level with his face

In honor of Gary Larson's birthday, please share a Far Side you love

Far Side cartoon by Gary Larson; two wolves are at the door to a cave with prehistoric humans. One wolf is speaking to the other, with caption "Be firm, Arnold. ... Let them in once and they'll expect it every time."

I've literally made cake inspired by their Birthday Cake flavor haha... They deliver in Rockville/Bethesda, unsure about Baltimore tho

Birthday cake with intensely blue cream cheese frosting, mermaid tail candles, and a quantity of rainbow sprinkles that might be considered excessive (also it's got sprinkles inside but that's not shown)

Less dramatic but this is Wolfie, who started as a terrified feral rescued by a friend of a friend and has grown into a wonderful, if still kinda spooky, adult cat who will shamelessly steal any chicken or steak you're eating

From a couple of nights ago: @gracefruits.bsky.social dropped by to deliver fans to help us survive the current lack of AC, and we spotted mating leopard slugs just outside the patio door! Very weird, but cool!

Two large spotted slugs twined around each other and suspended from a rope of mucus next to a drainpipe. Each slug is extending it's reproductive organs, which are also twined around each other
