Sorting some of my thoughts. Yes, the situation with SRDC (speedrun.com) is bad, your communities should consider moving in the long term, this has happened again now. However hastily jumping ships is also not the proper move. Take your time. Consult your communities. Keep your voice heard.

One of my flaws is that I don't have an eye for decoration, but since our daughter is becoming more of an actual human, I want to actually make holidays more magical for her. Do any design-eyed folks on here have suggestions for affordable places to get decor from?

The only reason anyone would ever have a run denied is personal. They could make the marathon longer if they wanted to, they just personally hate everyone they rejected

just hit me that i'm entering my 12th year of GDQ, which is frankly kind of wild. who would have thought that seeing a super meat boy speedrun in december 2013 would fundamentally alter my life in such an extreme way

After spending enough time in the speedrun community, you will come to realize that there is no group of people you should trust more as pilots and air traffic controllers than furries

finished watching keep your hands off eizouken earlier. i think i expected it to be a little more, like, ground-breaking given how people generally talk about it online? but it was pretty good all things considered. the last arc REALLY carries the show, imo.

with a little bit of extra time to read the story, finished my first three houses speedrun. ty @kirbymastah.bsky.social for the goated notes, my endgame was scuffed beyond belief (I repaired aymr two chapters too early because of a cascade of stupid decisions and almost couldn't win the final fight)
