unfortunately i am 99% certain that’s an llm reply. that said, for well over a decade i’ve been complaining that all productivity software does this too. project management and scheduling and writing and design tools all act as if the work is finished & static and only has to be inputted

To put it another way, you can’t just tell your sons they need to take accountability—you need to hold them accountable. Start with small stuff. Don’t shield them for the consequences of their actions. Walk them through the process of doing the wrong thing and turning it into the right thing.
