But maybe it would be good if he could get a lot of people bc it hurts the right far more than the left…doesn’t it?

Just looked and I guess a second transport ministry guy also died very recently 😳 Bc I am basing this on my highly unreliable memory, I’m not certain but I think this makes 3 in a very short period of time. But not sure the window guy was in govt. May have been an oligarch of some kind

010

I think this guy was shot….shot him self but there was another guy who very recently “committed suicide” by jumping from a high window, which is to say defenestration 😳

Our state attorney general (in CA) filed a suit to do something about how ICE is acting.I doubt it will be in time to help this man 😞 I HATE this!!! We are not treating people with the dignity that they deserve. Gestapo is right ! &the US right now is eerily similar to Germany in 1933 🥺

🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

That you have nothing whatsoever to apologize for. I’m very glad you have a saintly sister. I have one of those too. It sure makes life easier 🤭🤫 Still sucks that your Dad is struggling 🥺

000

emotional. You weren’t. You were just being authentic in a way that I think relates to emotion, which is to say in a way that has more to do with who we really are & what our experiences are really all about. But I could be wrong. I sometimes am 😂 What I’m not wrong about, however, is the fact 🧵

000

about being too open or sharing too much bc we are so culturally committed to the absurd idea that we shouldn’t share anything emotional or burden anybody with anything involving genuine feeling. I just disagree w/ that. Not suggesting you were being particularly 🧵

000

Don’t be absurd, Joel!!! If we can’t be authentic, what’s the point? I’m serious. One of my areas of research is philosophy if emotion & I’m pretty convinced that emotion drives almost all of our thoughts & behaviors (to some extent or another). I mention that bc I think we usually worry 🧵

Oh wow—Goose!!! I love how Goose loves watermelon!

000

end up feeling pretty miserable. I have no direct experience of this but have been an observer of close family members who have. Do you have siblings? I so hope you have siblings &are not dealing with this alone. Also, your Dad sounds simultaneously extremely frustrating & kind of awesome 🤭

Yikes!!! 😬 This story is funny but also incredibly sad. Dementia is bullshit. I do not approve of its existence!!!! And I may be wrong but it also seems to be something that our culture gives us very little guidance on so that those of us who end up having to care for someone w/ dementia are 🧵

Oh my goodness, that kitty is impossibly adorable!!!

Thinking of Frederick Douglass I’d helpful. Gives me some perspective 🥹

Ah ha!! Now I see! I’m slow on the uptake 😝

I don’t know why I wrote “either way” 🤷‍♀️🤣!!

I’m seized by envy!!!! 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

It’s true 🥺 But we won’t let them. There are an awful lot of us & we’re not afraid to fight 🗽❤️‍🔥✊🔥

💯! In addition to organizing & protesting, we also need to find out what Republicans are doing to try to affect the voting process so that we can be prepared & are able to ensure that voting occurs!

010

Obviously this one knows how to tell tales of the heart 🤭

Someone has to tell me what ravens & crows love to eat so I can get some to come hang with me. They are so cool!!!!

So true!! I was thinking today that if this catastrophic bill passes (as it likely will 😫), we should publicize all that it is doing over and over again so that the information breaks through. We should also do this with reports about corruption. You’re right about FOX!!!

This is ominous. Hard not to interpret it as an attempt to soften the ground for future cancellations

Yes!! And perhaps there can now be some intervention due to violations of international laws?
