I've said in my bio for a while that I'm a survivor. I've not shared why, until now: I was sexually abused as a child and have also been raped. I don't do porn because I'm "damaged", though it is an act of rebellion: my sexuality is my own, I decide what I'm ok with and what not. Not anyone else.

A while ago I argued that online sex workers need to be more sincere in the age of AI. The same goes for journalism: the 24h news cycle, the race for clicks, the collapse of revenue, ... slowly hollowed out independent reporting over the years.

Me and my husband have this thing where, most evenings, we'll smoke some weed together and start talking about trauma. I don't want to advocate weed too much here, but in moderation it can definitely be a tool to reflect on past trauma. At least in my experience.
