4 years on, AirPods Max continues to be one of my favourite products. Sound & aesthetics of these headphones are superb, & it's a product I use daily. It's disappointing that Apple has no current plans to update these headphones outside of the USB-C update we got in the fall.

Update: with the recent change in update policies i.e. pixel 6 and 7 series getting 2 extra OS updates on top of the 3 already promised, these become good value since it's a scheme only available in the US.

The Find X3 Neo was sold instead of the Find X3 base model in European regions. This was also the Reno 5 Pro+ in asian regions. The exact reason for the swap in models (base vs neo) is uncertain.

Phones you forgot about/didn't know existed part 3: the BASE MODEL Find X3. It looks the same as the pro. Because it is with ONE difference: it had the Snapdragon 870 chip instead of the then-flagship SD888 chip. Iirc it was not released outside of china, and I'm not even sure if it sold anyway.

I love it when phone companies decide to focus on making the base model of their flagships as comparable to the very best out there, and then making the pro flagships even better. Case in point: Find X8 can go toe to toe with the iPhone 16 Pro, and the Find X8 Pro outdoes it.

The watch 5 pro is a 3 day watch for me. Quite good considering I've been wearing it all day and get minimal notifications like I wanted it to. I don't wear it for sleep tracking so it does last longer.

Galaxy A16 and A16 5G! These phones don't feel laggy for some reason and this gives me slight confidence that it'll last at least 3 years without major performance hiccups. I couldn't do the swipe gesture test as settings was locked.

Watch 5 pro battery update! So far so good. Didn't go out yesterday but wore it on my wrist for the entire day. Didn't use sleep tracking as I'm not too keen on bringing a watch to sleep.

#OPPOFindX8Pro hands-on! Back finish is nicely textured, though the capacitive shutter key is undercooked. It doesn't support swipe gestures nor long press to open like a "real" one... But the price is competitive! Am tempted to buy one as a camera for the future.

Oppo Find X8 Pro - Smoothness Test I do admit, this phone is very smooth. Irl the animations seem bubbly in a way But, you'd expect for AUD$1800 + the phone having a flagship processor for the phone to be even remotely smooth I like this phone

Phones with aluminum sides should try to retain its original colour, at the very most have it deviate slightly with shades of grey, gold or pink. Completely black aluminium sides doesn't look nice IMO.

This reminded me of Shane Craig's (scaryifliteral on YT and threads) video where his wife (not a tech nerd) tried switching from the fold 4 to the fold 6 and in it she preferred the girth of the fold 4. Maybe this might be what consumers want so the old form factor is staying. Nevertheless- (1/2)
