It was a phenomenal experience! I was too young to see TWOK at the movie theater in 1982 so this was my first time seeing it “writ large.” To see the Enterprise on the big screen— still breathtaking!

In scenes like this, Pike knowing his fate seems almost like a superpower—he knows he can’t be killed—so we the audience know what he’s about to do just as he’s about to do it, where his only dialogue is giving Erica the con—it’s a great moment and is the kind of thing I love about SNW 🖖
