I never thought I would get to see Rush, so when I heard they were heading out on tour, I knew I had to go! This video doesn't do them justice, but it was a fun night, and I wanted to share it. I've seen many good drummers over the years, but I think Anika Nilles is at the top of my list! 🎸🤘🥁

My Ozzy shirt. I don't wear it often. I'm afraid to wash it because I don't want it to shrink. I don't know if any of us would be playing in Metal bands if it were not for Ozzy! 🎸🤘 #Metal music.apple.com/us/artist/am...

It's funny how some radio stations MUST see your EPK before playing your music. You'd think it should just be about the song, but many stations don't seem to want to play something from an artist who isn't already popular. If it was my station, I would want to be the one to discover something new.

So if one person somewhere in the city puts one non-recyclable item in their bin (which probably happens every time), and it makes its way on the truck, often the entire load is considered contaminated and sent to a landfill. Sounds like a scam to me! Just something to think about this Earth Day. 🌎

I predict the success rate (and amount) of ABS challenges will go up as the MLB season goes on and players get an acute feel for their strike zone. Could the umps improve too? With so many players, it seems less likely. Only a matter of time before umps are gone for good!

There's a reason the baseball season is 162 games. It's a marathon, not a sprint. There will be winning streaks, slumps, injuries, and who knows what else... It takes all 162 games to determine which teams are worthy of moving on to the playoffs.

Iron Maiden deserves to get into the Rock Hall, but I'm not optimistic they will. The voters have always looked down upon Metal, which is an obstacle, but the bigger issue is many of them don't know everything the band has done since much of their success has come outside the United States. 🎸🤘

When Dave Grohl was 37, he played drums for one song during a Foo Fighters show. After that song, he said he was so tired, he wondered how he used to play drums for an entire set, and that he planned to retire when he was 43! 🤣🤣🤣 Here we are 20 years later... Happy Birthday Dave! 🎂🎸🤘

If you're thinking of seeing Bob Dylan on his upcoming tour, just know its been years since he's performed many of his hits. I suppose he could always surprise the audience on a given night, but I wouldn't expect him to play the classics. If you want to hear the new stuff, enjoy! 🎸 #music

I never thought I would get the chance to see Eric Clapton perform. He was outstanding! It was a pretty simple show, no fancy lights or pyrotechnics, and he didn't talk much, yet he made a big venue feel small, especially during the seated acoustic portion of the show. Go see him if you can! 🎸

I know the NFL has never paid an artist to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, but if they want Taylor Swift, I think that would have to change. She would bring in so many viewers and generate so much money, she deserves something. She doesn't need the publicity. Her time is now.

Joe Walsh said when AI generated music know how to throw a TV out the window and destroy a hotel room, he'll pay attention to it. While I agree and understand what he means, AI could end up destroying far more than just a hotel room someday, and I probably still won't like the music. 🎸🤘 #music #rock

It's easy for people to say they're rooting for you when they think you're going nowhere. It's easy for people to jump on the bandwagon after you have succeeded. It's the people who support during the tough times in between (where most musicians get stuck) who really care.

When I buy a brand new guitar, I want it to look like a brand new guitar. I see the ads for new guitars in "relic" condition and they just don't appeal to me. Clearly many people disagree or they wouldn't keep making them this way. To each their own. 🎸🤘 #metalsky #musicsky #metal

Some artists have said they don't like performing at Glastonbury, which got me thinking about what I like in a venue. I don't like tables. I like a parking lot. I like dark rooms with "real" stage lights that move. I like a backstage. I like when there IS a stage and not just a spot on the floor...🎸

Some people think it's weird that I will go to a concert by myself. What difference does it make? It's usually so loud you can't talk anyways, and no one will know except for maybe the person sitting next to you. My advice, if you want to go, then just go! 🎸🤘 #concert #livemusic #music #metalsky

Jennifer Lopez is being sued for posting photos of herself to Instagram. The photographer who took the photos claims she did so without permission... So someone can take her picture, own it, monetize it, and she can't even post it on Instagram? It doesn't seem right to me. I'm rooting for her.
