One of my favorite things Peter Cullen did was this very specific Toonami bumper So when Cartoon Network acquired Hamtaro, they didn't know what to do with it so they shoved this wholesome show onto Toonami, and Toonami clearly didn't know how to advertise it Peter's voice just makes it funnier

I usually receive tips after the piece in completed (in which case I try to throw in extra goodies like stickers, postcards, etc) but if someone is generous enough to tip before I get started I absolutely lock in on a whole diff level 😆

I also see these same young artists crashing out because they aren’t getting the results that the INFLUENCERS claim. They make the same art, drop $$$ on products, supplies, the perfect office setup, event fees…and then panic when their first event ever didn’t pan out how they expected.

Especially meaningful to know he felt immense pressure to get it right, for both Chinese audiences and American audiences. I would have been too young to articulate it at the time, but as an Asian American I think it also meant the world to those of us who stood in multiple cultures.
