Where the hell did they get such cheap costumes? This explains why fashion has been so enshitefied. The rich have lost all sense of quality, and fit, and fabric. As long as it has a label they will skip the tailoring. They think this is ok. A theater costume shop would have better.

I went to the mall to walk. There is so much pleather out there right now, and so little actual leather. I was thinking, I miss Wilson's Leather. Turns out they still have a web site. The thing is I want to shop by feel and try stuff on. It is all so cheap, but still $70.

I was assisting a photo shoot for an ATV. They were going to green screen it to put it in location but the tires had very prominent nubs they didn't want to deal with in post, so I spent the day with nail clippers clipping nipples off tires.

Today has been a very long day. Yesterday's after fest decaf wasn't actually decaf. I did not actually sleep. I have now been at the VEG animal hospital (which is kind of neat in its open floor flow) with a sick bunny for the past 4 hours. He was sedated for an x-ray and isn't ready for discharge.

I really should think to take before pictures so I can take after pictures when I start any sort of yard work project. Spent about an hour cutting down all the junk trees and stingging nettle between my house and my neighbor's fence and it is a very pleasing after, but I wish I had a before photo.

I have a beautiful Blonde Swan hat and caplet in a light blue suede that read French wizard school so I felt uncomfortable wearing it anymore. Today i got it feathers and with this styling I think I can wear it again and I am so happy.

I am really loving The Butcher and the Liar by S. L. Woeppel. It is contemporary, a bit more thriller than horror but right on that line and creepy as hell. Weird loner girl with a fucked up family and a ghost that stays with her for years. Guilt, trauma and avoidance in a good way.

What Uptown MPLS needs is 3 distinct alt clothing stores, one alt shoe store and one alt jewelry store. And maybe a fancy candle shop. A revival of the 3 flavors of Heartbreakers. A revival of the original Saint Sabrina's/Uptown MPLS. The shoe store (was it Bay Street?) And the candle cart.

The second, the voice actor, who has written several good books, got a much much bigger cover credit than the author, so I thought he wrote it. He did not, and while he is a great reader it is a pretty dull book.

I am annoyed at the ausiobooks I have right now. One is an adventure where the main character doesn't have a clue what she have gotten into, with a bit of enemies to lovers so there are too many shouts of "go away" "stay" "run" "save me" "spare him" "you lied" "I lied" "you promised". So dull.

I am going to finish this book, but what a sad existence. There are so few emotions. They can feel rage and vengeance and disgust and pain and power over others. There is a really gross possessive "love". There is a very amoral morality in this story. It makes the world make more sense but gross.

The acoustics at Union Depot is crazy. There is one family having brunch, but when they laugh it echos as if each voice commands an army of ghosts that fill the whole space. It sounds like hundreds when it is less than a dozen people here.

The FDA approved a robot for blood draws. Someone built this because they say they cannot find human staff trained to do phlebotomy. The capital cost of these machines would allow an institution to humanely pay, schedule, and keep safe human staff if labor had any say. This will make me a communist.
