One of the best parts of playing Journey by @thatgamecompany.com is when you pair up with a random companion and you click and play and help each other and it’s all without any words or knowing anything about them, communicating just with little chimes. And then you get their name at the credits. 😂

ALSO back in June I signed up for the #SteamMachine not expecting to get on the list. I didn't, which was good because holy fuck it's expensive. I was waitlisted and figured it would be a good six-12 months, like with the Deck, and I could save up. I got my email Friday. I have not saved up. 😱🫨💸

Y’all deserve to see the glorious 1970s wallpaper that was hiding under the paint at my parents’ house. Sadly, we can’t keep it because there are unpapered spaces that would look weird, and we are on a time crunch. But admire.

So a surprise visit (and welcomed) visit from my mom switched things around. Downstairs is clean, not the spare room. Two thunderstorms nixxed the plant moving. I spent two hours futzing around with my budget, so that is a check PLUS. tbh, it was a lovely day. Two thunderstorms!!! 🤩

Paid an extra $1000 to my student loan. (Goal: payoff by April 2027 and then we will party). The whole thing went to interest, infuriating. It was ok! I have some opinions about casting and omg it is a loooong movie, but if you're excited to see it, remain excited. :D I've seen "pure cinema" and "transcendent" in reviews and I would not use those words but it did the job. And then I bought a watermelon and am VERY excited about that.
