iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Hi there. Unlike Mitch, I am not dead. Just popping on to say that we finally made headway in the Shift Change manuscript and we're getting close to then end. We're aiming to have it done by the end of the year and off to our editor in January. So maybe a spring release?

I trust Dubas more than random Pens fans.

I forgot to update here. Rex came home last night. They’re not sure what happened but it’s not heart disease or anything. His blood work was fine. Echocardiogram was fine. It might’ve been a seizure. Neurology will call to schedule an appointment. But he’s basically back to normal.

Woke up to Rex very ill. He was fine last night. Ran him to the e-vet, but I am not feeling very good about things. Preparing for the worst. He's been admitted for testing and such.

I recently tore up 1/4 of my front yard (which is not that big) to put in a garden bed. It looks SO MUCH BETTER than the stupid Bermuda grass that was there before. I really should just tear out the rest of the grass and turn it into garden beds, too.

I'm alive. :) Been playing hockey and gardening and helping my mom. And the day job. Best thing today was going to the library and taking out books. (Alas, none of my books are at my local, but they are in the county system)

Okay no goals down here this period. Only goals in Flyers net.

Wouldn’t mind seeing a goal down here behind the Flyers goalie this period. (And none at the other end, please)

I’ve forgotten how young college kids are.

I totally didn’t buy a Chinakhov jersey. No don’t look in the bag.

I think "Hoist the Cone" is my new favorite thing. What a city we live in.

Did the really call a trip on Letang for… shoving him over?

I think one of the issues is that the Pens are more or less between owners. No one to advocate for them against the league. If Mario was still a majority owner, he could just raise an eyebrow and this shit would stop.

The NHL hates the Pens. The only explanation.
