have spent my early formative years in Jacksonville, FL and Charleston, SC, I come by it honestly. Also having spent my later youth and young adulthood in MN I get away with Uff da and you betcha. Having the last 30 years in Philadelphia I can say wooder and youse.

Bobby is a treasure. He lost his wife this last year but he is still with us. Thanks to @gummyarts.bsky.social for recognizing the special guy.

Was not an autograph collector but got mine in 1984 at the Dugout card shop at the Silver Lake Mall in 1984. Asked my named and changed it to Spanish. Biggest smile in the world. Manny Sanguillen is also one of the great Latin guys. Always generous, impressed when my daughter spoke Spanish with him.

My mother-in-law was the 1st woman in the MN iron mining. She was a trail blazer (still alive). In the 1975 landmark case, Sorg v. Reserve Mining Co., successfully appling Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act to secure hiring equality & restroom facilities for women in heavy industry.
