The last time the Milwaukee Brewers were in the World Series you could get 12 8-track tapes for only a dollar through The Gorman Thomas Tape Club®.

Too bad the Brewers couldn't at least had something brewed in Milwaukee for the locker room celebration. It's all Budweiser.

Nice way to celebrate Summit getting new financing. Who else remembers the original Sparkling Ale? Looking forward to trying that.

I hope Shelton was taking notes right there; walk, stolen base, run scores on a single.

Maybe next year will be the season the Twins have an official Bluesky account.

Every once and awhile I scroll my old Replacements posts from the other place. Was fun to figure out Chris was wearing shoes from K-mart in this photo.

Seasonal reminder: in the song "Here Comes a Regular" the reason "there ain't much to rake anyway in the fall" is because per the original handwritten lyrics "the other tree died".

I've asked this question before. Is there such a thing as a great "baseball bar" in the Twin Cities? Criteria: you don't have to ask to have the game put on, other patrons are interested in the game, bonus if the TV sound is on.

So Tampa Bay plays 4 Non Blondes "What's Going On" during umpire reviews. I prefer @matthewkaminski.bsky.social's "Can't Hardly Wait in Atlanta.

In Richard Linklater's movie "Everybody Wants Some" set in 1980 there is a scene where a character is playing the Mattel handheld baseball game but it is labeled "Classic Baseball" which was a reissue of the original game.

To do my part to make the world a better place, I will periodically post photos of Liberty Biberty present at the Great Tragedies of Human History so as to bully Liberty Mutual into dropping this accursed character from its ads. Here is Liberty Biberty smiling as the Hindenburg explodes.

That thing happened again where I pay for a carwash at the pump because there is no line and by the time I fill my tank and buy a soda there are three cars in front of me.

I'll be taking part in this live from D&J Glove Repair headquarters. Really looking forward to it. I have the book and am looking forward to discussing it. The book is a must have for any baseball fan's library.
