If you have videos set to auto play on here or on other socials, it’s time, to once again, turn that off. Videos of the man dying at Six Flags over Georgia are popping up. Report, don’t watch or share. Absolutely heartbreaking stuff.

Got a ton of compliments on my new shirt at work today. I saw it hanging on the rack of Backstitch Bruja’s booth/room at son of monsterpalooza and had to get it. Nice soft short sleeve button up with ghost paisley!

Black fabric with white print of a paisley design but some are ghost.

Chloe Webb saying ‘they had a guy’ drive her and Gary Oldman around looking for drug dens while Alex Cox violently shaking his head no interrupting with ‘we did not’ was the most unhinged and unexpected moment at the Sid & Nancy Q&A Absolutely great night out!

ICE is in SFV. Looks like they're on Lankershim in Noho, Van Nuys Blvd in Van Nuys and Pano City, and trawling those immediate areas. This is a very vulnerable location. Please patrol if able. #LosAngeles #FuckICE #ChingaLaMigra

Any game with a multiplier bonus will cause me to forget how to work the controller the moment I notice the count. Like Guitar Hero type games, if I see I haven’t missed any notes and I’m 2/3 thru the song. My hand eye coronation is going on a mandatory break.

This is the year the 10 year old gets to make the majority of her own halloween costume! I made the teeth and stitched them onto her hoodie, so now this weekend she gets to go crazy with fabric paint.

An Anomaly from Animal hospital a game in Roblox. It is yellow and bunny like with orange spots but also a massive mouth filled with large pointy teeth

I hate that they did that to her. Let her know every line she puts to paper is an act of resistance and I’m very proud of her for speaking out to begin with. Even if I’m just some rando online.

As in the teacher fed it into ai?! I’d be in that office full on scorched earth. I had a melt down when one of my teachers came over and marked up my art that was unrelated to the class. It was a free period, and he was “helping” I cussed him out. My kid is also very vocal about her hate towards ai.

I’m going to be that real annoying parent on this topic. Art programs get cut first, always. They were getting slashed as I was working my way thru school. Every time I would get close to a course I was excited for, it was gone when it was my turn. Looking at you high school photography😒

Told them to look up data center noise pollution. Asked them why they are teaching kids that plagiarism is fine, that the environment shouldn’t be protected, that thinking and creating isn’t worth it. Asked where else in her education they cut corners.

I just wrote a novel of an email to my kid’s school. They just can’t help themselves from using genAI in flyers that would normally be bold face type with a splash of black and white clip art. How do you boycott a school? We don’t have the luxury to home school or go private, even those use ai too.

I’ll need to plan my vacation hours next year so I can hit even more screenings at Beyondfest than I managed this year. Rogue Trooper (soon-ish somehow still needs a distributor, so somebody please get that ball rolling) Drag (1/29/2027) Victorian Psycho (11/13/2026) Rumble in the Bronx (now in 4K)

While I really was hoping to catch one of this year’s Beyondfest give away shirts with Tim Curry, I’m plenty happy that the random David Lynch tee from last year made it into our screenings batch and was thrown straight to me.

With collections of Rockwell, Parrish, Wyeth, Frazetta. Sprinkled within galleries was Warhol, Picasso, Giger, Dali, Kahlo. In the comics gallery there was Mœbius, McCay, Hergé, Kelly, Batem. Also Banksy, Potter, Sendak, & Brunhoff. Just to name some I can remember off the top of my head. I loved it

Got to the 4th floor by way of this crazy ass elevator that only goes from 1 to 4 and back to 1. Then all the art was real. Mostly originals, I only noticed a handful of reproductions. This is where the museum really began for me.

3 large glass tubes for elevator shafts, like you’d see in Star Wars on some futuristic planet. You wait in line to be loaded, you don’t touch any buttons, the usher controls everything from their end. And zoom you go whichever direction is the opposite from where you are currently.

Last post(s) about the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. I went in not knowing what to expect, surprised that the Star Wars was somewhat a smallish gallery. I was worried after going into the first floor gallery where almost everything was framed monitors with digital pictures of art.

Some of my favorite anti fascism pieces of the day. There were plenty more, but these were the ones that made me smile. #LMIA

Bruce Minney ‘POW Assassins’ with a Nazi getting his shit rocked by a right hook

Banksy ‘Don’t Forget Your Scarf’
A mom covering up her anarchist son’s face with a red scarf with a packed lunch at the ready. The adult son has lib spikes and is holding an anarchy flag.

Another Banksy but I did catch the title card. A young girl is spray painting over a black swastica with bright pink paint

Not me getting extra emotional over a Wolverine drawing. I was not expecting to come face to face with an original Sam Kieth at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Illustration today. There were actually a ton of artist I was not expecting but pleasantly surprised with. Kieth is just top tier to me.

Inks for the cover of Marvel Presents Wolverine 85. The image is of a super duper hairy Wolverine hunched over squatting on a log.

Close up of Kieth’s signature surrounded by patchy whiteout and the year ‘91’

Rogue Trooper was placed in the correct hands. Breath taking scenery/landscapes. The action sequences and humor mesh so well. And that soundtrack! I hope by years end @manmademoon.bsky.social has a distribution deal and a release date announcement.
