every time an inconvenience or injury occurs my gut reaction is to say, “yeah I probably deserved that” how do I unlearn that, lmao

Does anyone else find it crazy that you can walk into a bookshop and be charged £9.99 for a paperback novel that took the author a year to complete, but £17.99 for a completely blank notebook?

There are so many amazing features that people would enjoy all wrapped in one game. Safari zone. Shiny chain hunting. Weird braille legendary puzzles. Contests. Berry picking. Diving underwater. Character customization. Breeding. You can revive this franchise. But you have to go back to the roots.

Allow for DLC content so that you don’t need to do trading. Put content in it that honors previous games such as Pokémon snap and colosseum. You can even have the different bosses/cronies be team valor, mystic and instinct and allow people to transfer their Pokémon go pals. (/6)

Finally, to hook all the nostalgic millennials: choose gym leaders that are inspired by older generations. This Gen should take place in the future when we can see the descendants of previous characters. Make this the Pokémon game to end all Pokémon games. So that we don’t need to buy another. (/5)

Next, create an open world Pokémon but make it cross platform. If the PC players and console players can unite, it will sell. Next, bring back the best features from each of the previous games: ex. 3rd Gen acro/mach bikes and secret bases, 4th Gen mining, 6th gen mystery trading, etc. (/4)

First of all, you spend the remainder of 2025 gathering fan submissions of their suggestions for new Pokémon OR evolutions missing from other Pokémon lines. You can also still encourage region specific variations like Galarian Pokémon, etc. Winners will be rewarded with an NPC given their name. (/3)

Here’s the deal, gamefreak. Your game is no longer doing numbers like it used to and the concept ideas are considered washed up by many. You need to go back to the drawing board. My suggestion? A Gen completely inspired by fanart and entirely intended to create a completed Pokédex. How to do it?(/2)

why invoke pichu slander when we could rally for the next big Pokémon feature: the fourth evolution. (🧵 a thread)

I had this weird urge to reach out to an old friend last night only to find out when they responded that they were about to be admitted involuntarily to an inpatient psych unit. I don’t normally consider myself someone with excellent intuition but it was eery how happy they were to hear from me.

I think I just learned something extremely profound thanks to some really old Reddit threads, so I have to apologize for always generalize redditors as “neckbeards.” Maybe y’all aren’t so bad after all.

I think the Venn diagram of symptoms across OCD, ADHD, and GAD… as well as autism means that we can’t really create perfect subgroups because these symptoms each vary in intensity. Idk. I just don’t like the study. 75% male samples? Nah.

010

Regan💫 @amaurobius.bsky.social · 15/07/2025

I don’t think autism can be classified into 4 subgroups. I’m not impressed with that most recent study everyone is talking about. I love diagnostic criteria as much as the next time but it’s too complex and truly too much of a spectrum.

I am intrigued with the “murder is wrong” discourse circulating right wing platforms reacting to the attempt on an ICE facility in TX. Is injury wrong then? Does unjust, untried deportation that has resulted in emotional and physical trauma not one step away from murder?

compulsive existential and productivity rumination is actually a disease, methinks

020

Regan💫 @amaurobius.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

I have worked at a psych hospital for almost ten years now and so i feel as though I’ve witnessed just about every way a person can experience and react to being put in a diagnostic box. It’s kind of interesting how relative it all is. It is a simultaneously empowering and daunting experience.

110

Regan💫 @amaurobius.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

I get what you’re saying though. The last thing we want is to make someone feel like a very large part of who they are is a fad when the reality is that the symptoms, struggles, and treatment from other people are lifelong, real, and very much overlooked by those who don’t really get it.

110

Regan💫 @amaurobius.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

I think I can make that happen. Is that Minecraft invite still a thing? 😏

110

Regan💫 @amaurobius.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

I get that point of view. I am not autistic, but I did technically get an ADHD diagnosis. I don’t think it’s all that accurate though. I sometimes think the intentions aren’t all bad. I think we all want to feel like we belong and community feels nice as neurodivergence can be ostracizing.

I am normally very critical about the mental health/disorder zeitgeist of tiktok but the “autism selfie” claim has really got me concerned that we do not understand enough about autism in females. That, or neurodivergence really does mess with one’s ability to recognize social beauty standards.
